Wild Wood Disco announces 2024 line up with Goldie, Erol Alkan & more
The boutique festival has announced its line up to a rapturous reception having invited a number of big names to join them in the woodland near Cambridge.
Taking place between the 21st and 23rd off June this summer, Wild Wood Disco will play host to a broad assortment of acts who will soundtrack a weekend long party in the countryside in the company of colourful friends. The full lineup was released earlier today and features a number of big names alongside emerging artists from the UK underground music scene.
Headline acts come in the form of Metalheadz titan and Drum n Bass legend Goldie, Phantasy boss Erol Alkan, house aficionado’s Dan Shake & Laurence Guy, CC Disco, Wallace and more.
Elsewhere a number of close Ransom Note friends and family will be featured including Tia Cousins, Ally Tropical & Matt Cowell who will play alongside acclaimed underground selectors such as Ruf Dug, Make A Dance, Sean Johnston and more.
The festival founders explain why they are looking forward to the 2024 programme.
“The line-up is carefully curated with our unique Wild Wood crowd in mind. We have such a mix of ages from 18-80, and for those of us that are over 35, this is not a festival that you’ll feel old at. This year is our most eclectic line up yet, with Goldie headlining on Saturday after Gina Breeze.
On Friday night we have Sean Johnston then Ruf Dug B2B with Dr Banana (can’t wait for this!). On Sunday we have CC:Disco followed by Erol Alkan who is closing out the Wild Wood with what is sure to be a memorable and lasting impression of our magical weekend under the stars. We hope our party goers will explore the woods, find different sounds, and discover new artists giving them a chance to dance to music that isn’t already on their playlist!
I’m particularly excited to see Rez and Afla on the main stage; a band I saw at Shambala who totally blew me away with their energy and sound. I just knew in an instant they needed to be booked for Wild Wood. Their mix of African influences and electronic beats makes it the perfect music to build up to a big night of dancing. They’ll be bringing loads of rhythm and infectious energy to the main stage and are sure to make the crowd go wild. It’s going to be so good.”
