The pioneering Pinch has unveiled plans to mark the 20th anniversary of his influential label Tectonic Recordings with a series of notable releases throughout 2025.

The celebration kicks off on March 6th with “Red Rabbit,” a collaborative EP with AV artist and producer Lorem. The project evolved from an hour-long audiovisual performance at Prague’s Lunchmeat Festival in 2024, featuring tracks like “Small Steps In The Dark,” “Perdido,” “The Rabbit Speaks,” and “Fall True.”

“Most of the music for the ‘Red Rabbit’ show was written by myself, with Lorem providing amazing imagery which is more like a proper animated film rather than simply visuals,” explains Pinch, real name is Rob Ellis. “Rob’s signature sound and depth with experimental layers and stutters,” notes Lorem, creating what they describe as “a surreal, dreamlike experience.”

Following “Red Rabbit,” Tectonic will release a new Pinch album, a compilation of fresh material, and EPs from grime legend Trim, dubstep producer Beatrice M., and electronic artist 2562.

Since founding Tectonic in 2005, Pinch has released work from influential artists including Shed, Fjaak, Flying Lotus, Skream, Peverelist, Digital Mystikz, and Addison Groove.

Pinch and Lorem will perform live at the L.E.V. festival in Gijón, Spain on May 2nd, with additional shows to be announced.
