New live-streaming platform Echio enables remote artist-fan interaction
Live-streaming platform, Echio, enables artists and fans to interact, free from geographical and technical barriers.
Echio’s decentralised model prioritises mutually beneficial interactions as artists can share their creative process and expertise with fans in exchange for direct payment, the prices of which are decided by the artist themselves.
The live sessions can take two forms: an ‘open session’ which is driven by fans’ questions; and a ‘workshop’ which is ticketed and will centre around a more specific topic. Payment will take the form of tokens to maximise the fluidity of the users experience.
Echio will be available to use from the 17th January. For a taste of what to expect, tune in to a live Q&A from Fantastic Twins in the studio on 7th January by clicking here.
