Shift Work – Scaled To Fit – Single Review
The first track on this EP sounds like Shift Work have murdered Vitalic’s ‘La Rock’, then reanimated the poor bastard’s corpse like an unholy electro golem. He’s still got the memory of what he was, but now he just moves a bit stiffly and can’t say his name properly and stuff. There he is, lurching off to the disco to scare impressionable kids with his gammy shuffling.
The other track on the soundcloud sampler appears to be the music Dr Robotnik hears pounding through his temples when he’s trying to squish Sonic’s stupid hedgehog face. All angry and itchy and ready to pop. Good though.
This is out now on Optimo, so you can buy safe it the knowledge it’ll almost definitely still sound good in ten years time.
