Crime & the City Solution, the renowned post-punk band, has unveiled oft their upcoming album titled “The Killer. Their first album release in over a decade, the inspiration stems from Simon Bonney’s experiences delivering aid programs in conflict-ridden regions, particularly the Indo-Pacific. Reflecting on the impact of turmoil on his psyche, the album delves into the manifestations of conflict in everyday life and the acceptance of uncertainty.
The first taste of the album comes in the form of the track ‘Peace in My Time,’ that speaks of acceptance amidst chaos. The album explores the veneer of normalcy amid extraordinary circumstances and the resilience born from accepting life’s challenges.
The killer was recorded in Berlin with the band’s core members, Simon Bonney and Bronwyn Adams, joined by a talented ensemble. The album also saw a collaboration with producer Martin J. Fiedler.
To support the album, Crime & the City Solution will embark on a UK and European tour starting in November,
