Stefan Goldmann And Samir Odeh-Tamimi’S Alif To Premiere In Berlin
Berlin will host the premiere of Alif on the 18th & 19th of March: audiences will enter through a tunnel below Radialsystem and the night will involve a club sound system, singer and room filling installation. This large scale, 4 hour work will host electronic works by Stefan Goldmann and chamber works by Samir Odeh-Tamimi performed by Zafraan Ensemble.
Alif will also feature soloists, Salome Kammer (voice), Jeremias Schwarzer (recorder / conductor) and Stefan Goldmann (electronics).The setting has been developed by Folkert Uhde and the installation is by Chiharu Shiota.
After the premiere in March, Alif will also be performed in Hamburg, Amsterdam and Nürnberg.
