The ancient warrior walked through the temple with pride and honour – on either side of the pathway were lines of observers and champions from the years previously. They applauded his bravery as he marched promisingly towards the fire which burnt brightly at the end of the tall, lofty hall. Kinto had been training for this moment for all of his life – it was if it had been his very destiny since birth in the long grass decades before.
