Mute Records stalwart Maps reworks Timothy Clerkin’s Fading with an indie dance touch!

Following on from the release of Lapalace’s dark and dingy remix of Sigma by Timothy Clerkin is the full Fading Remix package. Insult to Injury is offering up a quartet of reimagined versions of label boss Clerkin’s latest rave EP. Remixers include: I Love Acid head honcho Posthuman, Manchester-based Lapalace, and Liverpool label co-founder, All Trades. As well as Mute Records’ very own, very talented Maps! James takes the original Fading elements and spins them into something entirely new: simultaneously beautifully histrionic yet understated.

The analogue machines get a breathless workout here, as dramatic chords build, arpeggios dart and dive and we are left panting on the floor.
