The Hypercolour co-founder and STE and STEDITS boss joins the Faux Poly family.

Like a huddle of stony-faced penguins, the slew of suited men and women made their way into the room, settling into their seats as the indistinct chatter slowly fell to silence. What came out of this meeting would decide the fate of many people; people that these largely heatless bunch knew little about, or cared little for. It was a tale as old as time, one that everybody knew like the back of their hand – they were all waiting for a new chapter to be written…

For their first outing of the year, London duo Kassian welcome Hypercolour co-founder and STEDITS boss Ste Roberts to the Faux Poly family. Known for his deep, rhythmic productions on his plethora of labels, and more recently as Adam & Steve alongside pal and Trouble Maker main man Adam Curtain, Ste now takes a more introspective direction on this new outing, in part down to the circumstances it was created in. Made in his brand new studio after his daughter Eliza was born – which is also the name of this new EP – the intricate techno and electro tracks mark a period where he was making each moment count when it came to his creative workflow.
