Premiere: Rhinestone Lies – Mystery Season
Paradise Palms close out 2022 with an AR Kane-esque, Double Gone Chapel era Two Lone Swordsmen surf rock smorgasbord of distorted guitar and swirling drums.
It was mystery season in Rhinestone and the locals were getting edgy, something was just around the corner… again. The lies Ruby had been spun during her time spent in this town had left her numb to the edginess brewing. As the door was pushed open, the metal-on-metal sound cut deep into Elijah’s soul, making him wince. Ruby walked up to the counter and couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth as she found herself ordering a palm juice. The mystery ahead was something no one had expected and it wasn’t something you’d find in paradise.
Following on from Quick Gloss on Paradise Palms’ Bonnie Tropical 6 compilation earlier this year, Mystery Season returns to the label with Rhinestone Lies. An AR Kane-esque, Double Gone Chapel era Two Lone Swordsmen smorgasbord of distorted guitar and swirling drums, it’s the surf rock classic you never knew you loved until now. Comes complete with added extra remix action from Allan Low.
Rhinestone Lies will be released on 16th December.
