As thunderous sounds began to morph into a lost language, the measure of light started to fade and the air filled with the smell of soaking grass. Her worries began to crumble as the pink sky shed light on the tapestry-covered tent. It was on that day that the beating sound separated emotions of discontent from reality and forced her into a new realm built for that very moment. There she entered a new realm of friendship, love and euphoria that didn’t exist anywhere else…

Fast rising DJ and producer Jay Carder makes her mark on Kassian’s Faux Poly imprint with her debut EP Entropy, a deep dive into UK bass, techno and breakbeat. Her connection to these sounds is key to her musical energy and ethos, which she’s steadily built over the last eight years. Getting her start throwing events with collective 4 To The Floor London, Carder now holds a residency for London-based Voyage events and runs her own party series ‘House of Carder’ which has hosted the likes of Bruce, Breaka, Dr Banana and K-Lone.
