Premiere: Foodman – Soudesu
The tree was etched with a strange marking, it had been cut deep into the bark to show authority and ownership. It was not done with pride but with ruthless aggression and an anger towards nature. The branches blew softly up above, blissfully unaware of the damage which had been done to their counterpart on the trunk way down beneath. Why someone would do such a thing was beyond any sort of normal rationality – perhaps they were disturbed. However, all he knew is that the word "Soudesu" engraved into that poor wood would live on forever.
Foodman is set to release a new EP on the ever impressive Palto Flats record label, the New York City based imprint responsible for some of the most intriguing and thoughtful releases of recent years. This is no exception. Listen below:
