Premiere: Daddy Hyphen – Distrakter
Mutant bass come techno excursions on Canapé Records will cause a stir in the clubs this winter.
As each machine began to power up he could feel the surge of electricity in the room within which he stood. It were as if the building itself was being powered by some sort of strange external force from beyond.
The lights flashed and flickered, illuminating shadowy corners of the old abandoned warehouse. This was like sneaking a peek into the darkness and the unknown, like something not supposed to be seen.
As the cables sparked, it became clear that this was to be no ordinary night. The power was on.
Canapé Records are set to release a new EP from Daddy Hyphen. This is a record label that we’ve been keeping a close eye on as of late following a series of leftfield club records which sit between genres drawing influence from UK bass, techno and electro. This is a heads down affair, we reckon it will sound great on a big rig.
