Premiere: BassKase – What She Said

All eyes were on her as she crossed the room. Some envied her, but most despised her. With great power came great responsibility, and while most would shy away from the decisions she had to make, she found some kind of twisted joy in it. The power had gone to her head. From now until the foreseeable, it would be her way or the highway. 

Toronto-based producer and bassist BassKase – also known for his musings as part of Guerilla Welfare and Peabody & Sherman – presents a new four track EP that takes influence from disco, ambient, trip hop and house, but all retain his signature dubwise touch. Talk To Me lands on his own Soundpoint imprint and follows his previous downtempo, dub and ambient offerings under his different monikers.
