First Listen: Lauren Doss – Integer

Lo Recordings have become well known for their versatile approach to music, the label has acted as an outlet for many musicians and artists to experiment and try new things. Next month the label will release the second edition of their ‘Spaciousness’ series – a series dedicated to ambient soundscapes and dreamy ethereal music for quiet moments and reflection. 

This time they have invited a cast of artists to showcase material which seeks to “explore the connections, the overlaps, the roots and the future of a music variously referred to as ambient, deep listening, new age, fourth world and post classical.”

Artists who have contributed include the legendary Suzanne Ciani, Moon Circle, JQ, Ocean Moon, Ariel Kalma and Lauren Doss. It is Lauren’s track which has emerged first from the forthcoming release which will be available from the 6th of August next month.
