Premiere: Soul Purpose – Too
Soul Purpose was the mysterious moniker of Justin Drake and Clive Henry, recognised as the legendary Peace Division. This EP celebrates some of their music which had been thought lost to the depths of time as Wolf Music strike gold.
There was a strange atmosphere in the amphitheatre, onlookers were perplexed by what they’d seen, fascinated and intrigued. A rumble reverberated from the tall speakers in each corner, blasting noise down upon the gathering with a ferocious force. Soon they would all be under the hypnosis of the spell, the performance had begun.
There had been concerns that this would be too big, too grand and too ambitious to pull off but as the lights became dimmer and dimmer it was clear that the plan had worked.
Soon they would all be long gone.
Wolf Music are celebrating the work of Soul Purpose with a new EP made up of music recorded in the late nineties. Still sounding just as fresh and relevant today, these tracks have been given a well deserved lease of life.
