PREMIERE: Graintable – Cerulean Fields [Music To Watch Seeds Grow By]

Our very own Portland sound artist; Graintable, returns to the R$N family with another cassette of beautiful explorations.
In Cerulean Fields, where the wind wobbly blows,
And the sky is the shade of a blueberry’s nose,
There lived (if you’ll credit this improbable tale)
A most musical Graintable, spindly and pale.
This rickety-rackety furniture piece
Would hum to the seedlings and never would cease;
It played them sweet lullabies, ditties and jigs,
While balanced precariously on its twigs.
The neighbouring farmers, all flustered and flapped,
Declared that the Graintable’s mind had quite snapped.
“A table that serenades seeds? What a notion!
It’s clearly succumbed to some peculiar potion!”
Now should you go wandering, do take great care
To listen for melodies floating through air;
For somewhere in Fields that are bluely sublime,
A Graintable’s singing in three-quarter time!
Following his last three sold-out outings on R$N; ‘Herons’, ‘Universal Ash’ and ‘The Rain In The Trees’ our Portland-based ambient architect debuts on Music To Watch Seeds Grow By, dropping at the end of February.
Here’s a premiere for ‘Cerulean Fields’, available for purchase on Bandcamp now.
