N.O.I.A – Influences
N.O.I.A. are among the handful of pioneers to first grasp the power of syntheised music. along with contemporaries such as Depeche Mode and Giorgio Moroder, the Italian band sprung into existence in 1978, producing a string of mini synth masterpieces until they called it a day a decade later. Now, Alessandro Piatto, brother of core N.O.I.A. Davide Piatto has begun digging through the bands considerable archive to remaster and reissue early and lost tracks from the band, shining some light on an often under appreciated corner of electronic history. The first release 'Rule to Survive' is set to hit shops at the start of September, with remixes coming from Prins Thomas and Kirk Degiorgio, til then we got the band to run through some of the key tracks that inspired the N.O.I.A. sound…
