Manuel Göttsching - E2-E4 Part 2 Of 6

I love this record because it reminds me of Noel & Maurice Watson, UK Generals in the House scene, Noel would play this at Delirium, in the mix no-less, It reminds me of the early days of house music, I Love the delays and guitar work on this composition, as well as the Euphoric, classic keyboard line. Pure Love

  • The Jam - That's Entertainment

Probably the first time i paired songwriting with story telling. I Loved the Jam, I Love a lot of their songs. Thats entertainment is the full package.
I think there are lines in this song that everyone can relate to or recognise. Reminds me of my Youth.

  • Mfsb - Love Is The Message - Danny Krivit Re-Edi

The Original is incredible, having said the DK mix is probably the first version i heard on a Tony Humphries Kiss FM mix circa 1986-7, We then had them in at Quaff Records in 1988-9. Roy Marsh the Owner walked into Quaff one Friday, carrying two boxes fresh from NY, LITM was at the top of the Box, on the Philadelphia classics lp. This is my favourite song /arrangement, Ever. It has been in my box me ever since.

  • Mr Fingers Ammnesia (Original 12" Mix)

Reminds of the Acid House era, before raves, I’m talking Clink st, Confusion, The Sound Shaft (Back of Heaven). It reminds me off Black Market records under Rene’s reign. It was a fresh, sensitive, but rough sound. Larry Heard is simply the best. OG Classic!

  • A Tribe Called Quest - Find A Way

Who doesn’t like ATCQ, Q-tip on the bars, J Dilla on the Beats. High times for Hip-hop IMHO. Broken beat was building up steam, and Co-op was on Fire. It was a great time musically, Find a way is a Life Mantra.
