8 Tracks Of Dissolution – Eric Volta
Eric Volta is a mysterious figure who is very much in the spotlight of the House music scene at present. His music has featured on releases from Visionquest, Dirtybird and No. 19. His personal musical tastes tend to reflect a sound which is often quite different to the music that he plays in clubs. His latest record for My Favourite Robot takes a darker, more electro infused approach as he combines deep vocals with jacking basslines in an ominous fashion; whilst a recent remix of Stefano Ritteri on Rockets & Ponies sees him take a slightly more charismatic approach. We caught up with him to quiz him on his musical landscape in 8 tracks…

As the title suggests. Days have gone by in my life and I return to this delicate fragile composition and it somehow removes me from my position and reminds me that even though the world may seem like it is falling apart one can have find a calm & peaceful moment.
