Tlya X An announces debut EP ‘TXN’ on Spinny Nights

Israeli-British pop artist Tlya X An has shared the next single ‘Daddy’ from her debut EP TXN on Spinny Nights.

The new single follows her debut offering from the EP, ‘Holy J’, a playful and frenetic pop track that blends deconstructed club sounds and industrial electronics.

‘Daddy’ continues that playfulness, matching heavy beats with ‘early-2000s Swing Mob basslines’, and giving us another window into her powerful cocktail of club music and Y2k pop.

Speaking about the track, Tlya said: “Daddy is my story of wanting more from my life and the dark sides that come with that ambition. Being highly motivated and having dreams is great, but the fantasy can cause obsession and the process can get toxic if we’re not careful.”

Tlya X An is a composer, singer, producer and visual artist, who was born in Jerusalem and now lives in Bristol. A musical polymath, Tlya has a hand in every element of her creative output, which so far has involved a self-released EP and collaborations with young toro and The Yard Woman.
