sweeep and outby16 release dark ambient album ‘Memo Somnio’
Swedish producer sweeep has teamed up with fellow Swede outby16 for a collaborative dark ambient album.
The hour long release is a departure from both artist’s usual output which usually revolves around heavier beat-led material.
Marking the first release from outby16 under his own artist name, having been a ghost producer for much of Canadian rapper Night Lovell’s music, the record is a collection of soft, ambient compositions full of droning soundscapes and glitching textures.
sweeep is a Stockholm-based producer who makes heavy atmospheric beats and soundscapes. She has previously released music on Sonical Dior, which is the home of this new collaborative album. outby16 is a Swedish producer who has previously worked with rappers as a beatmaker.
