Sounds of Solidarity compilation raises funds for Turkey & Syria emergency relief
Sounds of Solidarity share a 20-track compilation to raise money for victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake.
In response to the the catastrophic event that hit southern and central Turkey and northern and western Syria on the 6th February, claiming more than 40,000 victims as it stands, the Italy-based non-profit label have collected works from friends across their native Italy and beyond.
All money raised will be donated to Unicef Italia who are collecting funds for victims of the earthquake.
The label initiative was launched in 2022 by sound artists and composers Luca Longobardi and Marco Caricola to raise funds for those affected by the war in Ukraine, which culminated in two huge compilations which raised more than €5000 for Ukrainian Red Cross.
In the words of the label: “As musicians and artists, we always question what positive impact we can have on the world. By supporting, sharing and talking about this project, you add your voice to ours to help people in need in those territories.
Sounds of Solidarity Vol iii is out now.
