Someguy Records launches in Brussels with first EP
The first EP features music by Someguy himself and also features a remix from Different Fountains having been mastered by Stefan Betke aka Pole. The record features tracks which have been supported by the likes of Even Tuell, Roger 23, Meakusma, Sensu and more whilst the sounds featured on the record are perhaps somewhat reminiscent of the golden age of microhouse associated with the likes of Workshop, Perlon and Playhouse.
The EP is titled “City State” and is described by the label itself:
“Orbiting around a hypnotizing vocal sample and adding snippets of failed Zoom Meeting audio, the title track is a perfect reflection of the claustrophobia that the numerous lockdowns of 2020 brought upon us.”
