SODAA announce their first compilation ‘Decentralised’
SODAA, a community-led association of artists, have announced their first compilation, ‘Decentralised’.
The release features music from SODAA’s members, friends and new faces and is an exploration of the sounds and influences of their growing community.
To align with their values and mission of creating a decentralised, equitable and collaborative music scene, SODAA have asked several like-minded labels to co-release the compilation with them: 3 Swords Republic, Club Late Music, Hard Return, HI-NRG, New Scenery, Sly Tone, and TOO MUCH INFORMATION.
In addition to the main release, artists in each of these label’s rosters will follow up the compilation with a series of remixes.
All profits from the release will be split between the artists and SODAA, to raise funds for their long-term goals, with a portion going to the affiliated labels.
SODAA (A Self Organised, Decentralised Association of Artists) is a London-based community of musicians, DJs, producers, coders, workers, songwriters, promoters and partygoers who are working towards a model for a collectively operated music venue in London, run and funded by its members.
Decentralised Volume 1 will be released on 4th February.
