Snoop Dogg To Induct Tupac Shakur Into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame
Snoop Dogg is set to induct his late friend, the rapper Tupac Shakur, into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in April.
The news comes after Tupac was announced as an inductee back in December last year. He'll be the sixth hip-hop star to be inducted and will join N.W.A, The Beastie Boys and Run-DMC. Shakur will be the first hip-hop solo artist to join the Hall Of Fame.
Artists are able to "become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first record". The rapper's inaugral release, '2Pacalypse Now', came out in November 1991.
