Russian artists come together for Ukraine fundraiser compilation
Global Warming Records have teamed up with Moscow artist Yssue to curate a compilation of music from Russian artists to raise money for War Child’s Ukraine Fundraiser.
Curated in response to the military action in Ukraine, and as a message from Russian underground musicians that their scene should always be ‘a place of safety, mutual support, peace and equality’, the compilation aims to raise awareness of this message and help those in Ukraine who’ve suffered from military actions.
Made possible by London-based DJ and Global Warming Records founder Malcolm and curator Yssue, a previously Moscow-based producer and member of Russian collective Esthetic Joys, the release features music from 22 artists, bands, producers and graphic designers from across the country, including Simple Symmetry, Errortica and Lipelis.
The press release reads: “We think that everyone has to be heard, and the modern Russian youth has a lot of things to say. We’re glad that despite unprecedented pressure, they decided to come together and speak out to support those whose lives are in danger.”

100% of the sales of Russian Music for Peace will be sent directly to the War Child’s Ukraine Fundraiser.
