Rare tracks from Gabrielle Roth & The Mirrors dance workshops to be released

London based record label Time Capsule has announced a remarkable release showcasing selected music recorded by Gabrielle Roth & The Mirrors between 1985 and 2005. The music, is described by the label as having been “conceived as live, improvised soundtracks to Roth’s transcendental dance workshops.”
Eleven tracks now feature on this rare compilation which features credits and guest appearances from some of the most prominent jazz musicians and artists of the era. The Mirrors, her collaborators, are well known for having worked with the likes of Santana, Pharoah Sanders, Sun Ra and Miles Davis among many others over the years.
The full album will be available from the 5th of March and also features artwork from London based curator and dj Donna Leake.
