Pirate launch ‘The Project Fund’ to give artists free studio time
Pirate Studios have announced a £17,000 fund to give artists free studio time to work on a project throughout 2022.
The funding is available to creatives and collectives in three regions – UK/Ireland, Germany and US – and will be split between three successful applicants, one from each region.
To enter applicants will have to pitch a new or ongoing project which will benefit from Pirate’s support and meets the following judgement criteria: originality, the wider impact on the local community impact and the ways in which the projects make use of studio time.
Applicants can be from any creative background and of any level. Examples of projects might include starting a record label, development of a theatre piece or a new DJ livestream series.
Applications for ‘The Project Fund’ are open now – apply on their website.
