Opium club celebrate 10 years with a marathon party
To celebrate ten years in the game Vilnius-based Opium club are throwing a marathon party with both close friends and honorary guests.
Taking place on 13th December, the night brings together close family like V musique of Le Temps Perdu, Opium resident Clicklounge and his Juoduomenė co-founders Tadas Quazar and Tumosa, and good friends including whypeopledance's Monika Seta and Playground Record's Roe Deers.
They keep it local with Pakas, Roads and Less Feeling of Lizdas, a club in the neighbouring city of Kaunas, then invite some honorary international guests; De School resident Job Jobse, Sydney selector Lauren Hansom and Oliver Hafenbauer of Robert Johnson.
The following day the celebrations continue with a cast of local heroes. The co-founders behind Opium's infamous Smala night, Manfredas and 12 INČŲ PO ŽEME head up proceedings, joined by the three minds behind party and collective Digital Tsunami, Ernestas Sadau, Roman Sputnik and NKS, plus special guests 2manydjs.
Opium club has become an institution in the Lithuanian capital and beyond, inviting some of the most interesting and exciting DJs from near and far to play at their club. As well as being home to resident nights including Smala, Jardin Exotique and Bad Habits the club have recently welcomed guest residents including Beesmunt Soundsystem and Lena Wilikens.
