no pants subway ride goes down a storm
The New York based ‘prank-collective’ Improv Everywhere today hailed the success of the 13th Annual ‘No Pants Subway Ride’, an event held yesterday – predominantly in NY but now spreading across the globe, with participants taking part in over 60 cities, including a small contingent of trouser-less travellers in London & Berlin.
Quite what the point may be is anyones guess, but with thousands taking part and the figures growing each year, it’s obviously got (horribly exposed) legs.
The only hope is that the translation of pants from American into English didn’t go amiss, as getting the tube sans trousers/skirt may be a laugh and a joke, but getting on the circle line with your gems out is another story entirely.
