Marie Montexier launches new label Paryìa with an EP from a.b.u.303
German DJ, Warning resident and HÖR regular Marie Montexier has launched a new label: Paryìa Records.
The first release is from German-Turkish artist a.b.u.303 who takes influence from his father’s culture, fusing elements of traditional anatol-funk with electronic music to craft a collection of slow and fast rhythms laced with bass and acid.
Like Marie’s own DJ sets, the EP crosses genre boundaries, and sets the tone for what’s to come on the label. Paryìa’s mission statement reads: ‘The imprint focuses on the support of upcoming producers aiming to give them an opportunity of trying themselves out without any boundaries. Driven by her passion for music Marie Montexier started Paryìa to create a community platform for artists, that she finds inspiring and exciting.’
