Lord of the Isles shares new album for ESP Institute
Lord Of The Isles will release his sophomore album, Night Of The Endless Beyond, on Lovefingers’ ESP Institute this month.
Marking the Scottish producer’s first music on the label since 2016, the tracks were written and recorded in 2021 but subsequent delays and obstacles at the pressing plant meant the release is only seeing the light of day now.
It became a somewhat mythical collection of works for the label, seemingly lost in space, which coincidentally chimed with the visual created by artist Mario Hugo that adorns the sleeve.
His second album on ESP since the well-received In Waves, this hypnotic and emotive follow up takes in lots of different influences, from dub, deep techno and Balearic to psychedelic electronica and ambient.
Lord of the Isles has been writing and producing music for over 15 years which has been housed on labels like Permanent Vacation, Mule Musiq, Ene and Phonica, among others.
Listen to the snippets.
Night Of The Endless Beyond is out on 18th November.
