lloyds bosses defend massive bonuses
Remember Lloyds, the bank we bailed out, us the mere, lowly taxpayers? Well, they’ve forgotten all about us – the staff have shared a 395 million bonus payout, with the big boss receiving a meager 1.7 million to sweeten his tea.
Funny thing is the bank’s looking at a 10 billion bill for mis-selling PPI and they reported a yearly loss of 802 million after tax. On top of that they received a 28 million fine from the Financial Conduct Authority last year for the ‘champagne bonus culture’ that exists in the organisation.
So, nice one Lloyds, NICE ONE.
