Kasra V to release EP on Firehouse
The Iranian born, London based producer is set to release a new EP on Kim Ann Foxman's imprint, Firehouse on November 19th next month. The EP features a special one track collaboration with Dopplereffekt’s Rudolf Klorzeiger and To Nhan. The release follows on from appearances on Make Love In Public Spaces and Feelings Worldiwde. Kasra also appeared on a remix for C.A.R. as part of the Ransom Note Records release earlier this year.
The NTS mainstay draws upon an eclectic array of influences on the new EP which blurs the lines between rave, breakbeat, idm, ambient and trance in a superb mixture of style. Kasra has described his collaboration with Dopplereffekt below:
“I’ve always admired Dopplereffekt's work, which is monumental to techno, so to have them on board for a collaboration is immense. I like to think of this EP as new millennium post proto trance/IDM."
The release is rounded off by a remix from Mike Servito and Justin Cudmore.
