The German producer is back with new material on a newly launched record label of his own.

Isolée is the moniker of Rajko Müller who has just announced the release of a new album via his own new imprint ‘Resort Island’ of the same name. His music has previously been released on the likes of Pampa, Playhouse, Dial, Mule Musiq and Maeve but this new chapter of his career will see him grow roots from the launch of his own record label.

The music on the upcoming album has been recorded  over the past two years, working night after night at his home studio in Hamburg.

“Most nights I would work until I simply couldn’t hear anymore. One by one, the tracks came together. Eventually I had a feeling, like, ‘Ah, the puzzle is starting to show its picture.'”

The new album features ten tracks of abstract, at times minimalistic House music, which tugs at the heartstrings and weaves between Dub, Disco and Ambient textures.

“In my early years,” he says, “I was listening to lots of records, going out clubbing a lot. I had a clear reference for what I was contributing to. Nowadays this is less the case. Also, for many years I felt I was competing with the expectations set by my early records. I don’t feel that anymore. But I still have the dance floor in mind as a place where music happens, with the aim of triggering people’s emotions and imagination.”

The album was announced with the release of a single, a track titled ‘Rumour’. The full album will be available from the 19th of May later this year.
