IN2STELLAR announce debut EP ‘Feels Bad’
Naarm/Melbourne DJ and production duo IN2STELLAR have announced their debut EP on Phenomena Records.
The first single to be shared is the title track ‘Feels Bad’ which is a driving progressive track with a pulsating groove and huge bass line.
The rest of the EP follows a similar path, marrying their love of classic 90s and early noughties trance, techno, electro and progressive house with futuristic touches.
Speaking about the debut EP IN2STELLAR said, “‘Feels Bad’ is a snapshot into the sonic landscape we’re immersed in at the moment. We’re really hyped to be releasing our first body of work and although our sound is ever-evolving, this track, and the tracks to come, definitely reflect our current style which is heavy, deep, driving and more techno influenced than what we were playing and creating a year or two ago. It’s been a dream of ours since we started DJing together over 5 years ago to release an EP so to be at this phase of our career is really exciting and with a bunch more music already in the works, this is only really the beginning…”
The duo of Sarah Morgan and Georgia Bird have been making a name for themselves in both Australia and Europe for their energetic sets, which included a 14 show run around the UK and Europe. The pair also host their own club night ‘Neurotiq Erotiq’ which has hosted the likes of Helena Hauff, LOGIC1000 and Or:la, and have contributed tracks and remixes to various compilations and labels including Sticky Tapes and Pure Space.
Launched during the pandemic in 2020, Phenomena is a platform run by one half of IN2STELLAR, Georgia Bird, alongside Georgia Madden and Suzanne Gurusinghe as a space for electronic music from their respective scenes (Naarm/Melbourne & London).
Feels Bad will be released on 13th April.
