‘Dancefloor Designs’ reworks previous catalogue material from our RSN sub-label, with the club in mind.

The inaugural package of remixes revisits music from Anastasia Zems and May Lavie, the second and fourth releases on Human Endeavour.

First up, Calypso Records boss and mushroom house master Thomass Jackson adds his psychedelic touch to Zems’ ‘Trust Me’. The Mexico-based Argentinian has his own unique off-kilter take on house music that manifests on this remix through trippy soundscapes, squelchy acid licks and a chugging bass groove.

Next up they welcome Medicine 8 to the label, the duo of Trashmouth Records founders and one half of Decius, Liam and Luke May. The project, which started almost 30 years ago, saw the pair release a healthy string of records through to the late noughties, followed by a handful of remixes for label mates Fat White Family and the likes of Kylie Minogue, Manic Street Preachers and Orbital, to name but a few. Marking their first new music since 2016, the pair take a machine-led approach to May Lavie’s ‘The Poem’, twisting the original into a crunchy acid roller.

‘Dancefloor Designs’ is out on Friday 18th April via Human Endeavours. Pre-order / Pre-save HERE.
