Far Out Re-Release Azymuth’s Debut Album

Far Out Recordings have announced plans to re-release the almost self-titled debut album from Azymuth – 'Azimuth'. The album has never before been released outside of Brazil so for many this will be the first chance to get their hands on the warming feel of a 12" Brazilian beauty.
Azymuth's "psychedelic 'Amazonian' version of western pop music" was always a boundary-pushing affair, largely due to José Roberto Bertrami's obsession with the latest musical technology, and the record still sounds as far out as ever. To mark the 40th anniversary of the seminal debut album, 'Azimuth', and in homage to the late Bertrami, the band will also be touring the album in Europe.
Azymuth's ‘Azimuth’ will be re-released on 16th February, for more information see the Far Out website.
