Ell Murphy and Chivinski (Coco Bryce) team up for new single ‘O.B.F.C.’

South-East London vocalist and DJ Ell Murphy has teamed up with Chivinski (the alias of Coco Bryce) for a new single ‘O.B.F.C.’

The second single to be taken from a forthcoming compilation on Interplanetary Criminal’s label, Locked On Records, the track is a celebration of the underground UK Garage scene and how it has transcended borders and countries.

The full compilation, titled All Thru The Night, follows Interplanetary Criminal’s number 1 single B.O.T.A with Eliza Rose.

Showcasing some of the best names in UK Garage right now, it features tracks from himself alongside new music from his fellow UK G contemporaries.

Chivinski joins a list of collaborators that Ell has worked with including Giulia Tess, Perception, TSHA & YUQT. While her own label Juicy Tunes has become a home for her own musical efforts, as a DJ she often teams up with fellow DJs Mixtress, ohmydais and Fae as part of Team Woibey, a collective who explore no nonsense high energy cuts.

Taking about the inspiration behind the single, Ell Murphy says “O.B.F.C. stands for ‘One Big F**koff Crew’, which started the name for a silly whatsapp group in lockdown and has gone on to become a real community here in London and across Europe. The song is about those bonds and friendships I’ve made; growing from whatsapp texts to the hazy embers of an afters at 6am and now lifelong relationships. It’s an unbeatable feeling when you’re out with the whole crew and just really feel part of something, so I wanted this song to encapsulate that feeling of togetherness.”
