Derailleur announces new vinyl label Decade Box
France-based producer Derailleur has announced a new vinyl label Decade Box with the first in a series of releases dedicated to his love of machine made music.
The series will showcase his productions made over the last 10 years, with the first EP, entitled Hydraulic Performer, displaying two different sides of his techniques as a producer. The opening title track is a raw machine-driven electro cut that comes complete with a remix from Radioactive Man, while conversely the closing track sees Derailleur deliver synth-soaked techno.
This forthcoming series marks the first release from Derailleur since 2007 after making homes on various imprints including Varial and Dust Science Recordings as well as a track under Betaville on Andrew Weatherall's Watch It Ride compilation on Harmless.
The first release will be out on 27th September.
