Dengue Dengue Dengue Reveal Video From Crowdfunded South American Birdsong Initiative
Peruvian masked electronic dub duo Dengue Dengue Dengue are sharing a psychedelic video highlighting the success so far of a South American wildlife preservation initiative. ‘A Guide to the Birdsong of South America’, the crowd-funded album of music inspired by birdsong, aimed at raising awareness about the plight of some of the most critically endangered birds in South America has exceeded expectations, having already raised over $8000 in download, vinyl and postcard sales. To celebrate this achievement, Rhythm and Roots announce a new endangered species initiative in Argentina, and the video release of ‘Remolinera Real’ by Dengue Dengue Dengue, a psychedelic visual trip through the South American imagination.
Some of South America's most talented young musicians and producers including Chancha Via Circuito and Psilosamples used the recorded song of an endangered species from their country in South America and created an original track.
