Damo Suzuki Documentary ‘Energy’ Is Nearing The End Of Its Crowdfunding Period
A crowdfunded documentary about the life of enigmatic CAN frontman Damo Suzuki entitled Energy is nearing its deadline for donations, which falls on June 20th. Directed by Michelle Heighway, it's an intimate portrait of the musician which places focus on his life as he confronts cancer and attempts to resume a never-ending tour.
“This documentary is a wonderful story of hope and survival. It’s a personal portrait of the life and times of a nomad, poet and enigmatic singer on his very inspiring journey. This has been a really compelling experience that has changed me on so many levels, and I feel this will transfer to the audience”, Heighway says.
Currently well over 50% of its £20,000 target, Energy is slated for release in 2019.
