Bob Holroyd re-releases “Games Without Frontiers” cover to raise money for Ukrainian families
Bob Holroyd has re-released his 2003 cover of Peter Gabriel’s classic ‘Games Without Frontiers’ to raise money for displaced Ukrainian families in the UK.
Following Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, and the unexpected resurgence of Kate Bush (who featured on Peter Gabriel’s original version), Holroyd decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to re-release the popular cover, which draws a parallel between global wars and children playing games.
Alongside the original cover, the EP also features two never-before-released versions that were produced at the time of the original release.
All profits from the release will be donated to The British Red Cross Society who are providing support to displaced Ukrainian families who’ve arrived in the UK since the war began.
