Black Roots Release New Album This Month
In the Thatcherite 80's, Black Roots militant reggae spoke out on the injustices and alienation of that divisive time in UK history. In 2016, the country finds itself in class, race and political meltdown again. With austerity hitting the disenfranchised and dispossessed, and the media stoking the race cauldron with innocent refugees fleeing wars in Africa and the Middle East, their new release "Son Of Man" resonates. After recent appearances at ATP and Glastonbury, this new studio album completes a set of deep roots reggae, uprising and uplifting across 11 new songs.
Son Of Man is released on Soulbeats Records on 22nd January. Find out more HERE.
