Beatrice Dillon announces debut LP for PAN
The critically aclaimed producer has revealed her first full length release for the eclectic arts and music platform PAN. "Workaround" is the title of the album which will be released in February of next year. Recorded between studios in Berlin, London and New York the release features a number of collaborators who have contributed stems and samples in the process of the formation of the record. It features appearances from the likes of UK Bhangra pioneer Kuljit Bhamra (tabla), Pharoah Sanders Band’s Jonny Lam (pedal steel guitar), techno innovators Laurel Halo (synth/vocal) and Batu (samples), Senegalese Griot musician Kadialy Kouyaté (Kora), Hemlock’s Untold and new music specialist Lucy Railton (cello).
The album is a representation of Beatrice's own far ranging influences which includes UK club culture to syncopated suss and Afro-Caribbean sounds. "Workaround" will be available on both digital and vinyl.
