A 15-hour fundraiser with Netil Radio & The Social for Turkey & Syria relief efforts

On Tuesday 14th March, we’re teaming up with Netil Radio and The Social to host a special 15-hour long radio stream to raise money for Turkey & Syria relief efforts.

Running from 9am all the way through to 12am, the stream will feature sets from Turkish DJs and Ransom Note, Netil and The Social affiliates which will be aired live on Netil throughout the day.

From 6pm we’ll be moving the stream over to The Social in Soho and streaming live from the bar, so anybody who’d like to come down, have a drink and support in person, please feel free to join us.

Netil Radio boss Miro Sundaymusiq will be kicking off proceedings tomorrow with a two hour breakfast show alongside local Syrian activists, before several artists who appear on our recent Turkey & Syria relief compilation, in collaboration with Turkish label Müstesna Records, take over with guest mixes: Jtamul, Emre Can Swim and label bosses Umut Kahya and Ece Özel.

There will also be streams from Turkish artists based here in London, including Canan Batar, Moontalk, Meltem Yazar and Ceylan Göksel, as well as RSN, Netil and The Social family Bawrut, Tia Cousins, My Analog Journal & RAM (Rosie, Ally and Matt).

As a follow up to the compilation, which features 48 artists across two volumes (the second of which will be released on 15th March), we’ll be directing all donations to this release so that supporters also get a ton of good music for contributing. All money from the compilation will be split between birkirabiryuva.org/en/ (TR) and Molham Team (Syria).
