Warmduscher: The Ransom Note Mix
Time to get wild with Warmduscher as drummer Bleu guides us through an eclectic haze of oddball cuts.
Warmduscher are fun – 100% unadulterated fun. The group are known for there no holds barred approach to the music ‘industry’ and don’t take anything too damn seriously. Over the years they have released music on the likes of Leaf and Bella Union and have become best known for their blurred lines between post punk, funk, rap and the weirder bits which sit in between.
Fronted by Clams Baker they are supercharged by provocative vocals and a distinctive energy. It’s a voice you might well have heard on Paranoid London records, which is a bloody great coincidence because in Warmduscher you will also find Quinn Whalley who is also part of Paranoid London. Who knew?
Anyway, this mix wasn’t recorded by either of them but by another member of Warmduscher known as Bleu Ottis who operates as the bands drummer.
The mix is unsurprisingly odd and playful. Spanning an absolute powerhouse of styles and genres. This one is all about the vibe, which we feel you might just enjoy.
