Domenic Capello: The Ransom Note Mix
There are very few disc jockeys in the UK or even the world who can be said to have had as longstanding a legacy as Domenic Capello. As one of the most reputable resident dj's in the world alongside his counterpart James Harrigan he has amassed a reputation as a fearless selector and an infamous party starter. Harri & Dom have been at it for decades, the pair have championed Saturday nights in the Sub Club since long before a generation and continue to remain two of the very best at keeping the floor moving and the dancers happy. Playing everything from disco to house, electro to techno and whatever ever else works down in that basement the pair have been keeping the party alive for over twenty years on Saturday night. We are honoured to welcome Dom to our series…

Domenic Cappello, currently at home in sunny the Scottish Riveira aka Govanhill Glasgow. I'm half human ,half hangover.
What does your music sound like?
A warm bath on wheels rolling quickly downhill.
Can you draw what you think it sounds like for us (an image from the old internet is acceptable)?
A sine wave wearing wellingtons.
Where was the mix recorded?
In my house on real live record players and a c.d thingy.
What would be the ideal setting to listen to the mix?
Neuschwanstein Castle on a warm summers night
What should we be wearing?
Whatever you want no one will judge

In the space station looking down on earth with the sub clubs sound system, 2 decks and 2 cdj's

It was 2 decks both different makes, one had a vari-speed one didn't and a made 2 fade mixer. Now it's 2 x1210's the clubs old pioneer mixer that needs the pots cleaned as u can hear in the mix now and again and a cdj 1000.

Liger
One record in your collection that is impossible to mix into anything?
No such thing.
Upcoming in the world of… Anything else we need to discuss?
I really wish the World Cup was still on ,my life feels empty without it and its like I've lost a good friend.
