London keyboardist Joe Armon-Jones will release “All The Quiet,” his first solo album since 2019, in two parts through his label Aquarii Records. Part I arrives March 28th, with Part II following June 13th.

The 20-track project, entirely written, produced, and mixed by Armon-Jones, features collaborations with Greentea Peng, Nubya Garcia, Wu-Lu, and others. Lead single “Kingfisher,” featuring Asheber, is out now.

The album’s genesis traces to lockdown, when Armon-Jones built a home studio and explored dub production techniques. Recording took place over four days at Livingstone Studios and Press Play with a core band including drummer Natcyet Wakili and bassist Mutale Chashi.

The release will include a deluxe vinyl edition featuring artwork and a comic book developed with visual collaborators Divya Scialo and Ralph Berryman, exploring themes of musical resistance and creative spirit.

Armon-Jones, known for his work with Ezra Collective and collaborations with Mala and Tony Allen, will release the album through his newly established Aquarii Records.

“I got really into exploring the soundworld of dub,” explains Armon-Jones. “Taking that process and applying it to jazz, funk, and all the other music that I really love.”
